About the Breeder

Meet Janina Besa Siebert.

Here it is. We are not professional breeders. Our Boxers are not AKC registered. Our Boxers are gorgeous and loved!

Tiger Roo and Cocoa Chanel's human Mom, Janina, has the privilege of getting to know the breed, training and loving these beautiful animals for almost all of her life.

Currently, she is a stay at home Mom of two human kids, plus Tiger Roo and Cocoa Chanel (who were adopted as adults and are Janina's 7th and 8th Boxer babies since her first Boxer, Missy, in 1983), and now also a proud Grandma to the 10 Boxer babies on this blog.

We care very much about this breed. While none of our Boxers have ever been AKC registered, most of our Boxer babies were adopted/rescued - and all, in our opinion, have been true to the breed standards in looks and temperaments. She is completely partial to Boxers and favors Boxers with the German or European build.

Because she's been caring for Boxers for over 30 years, we will NOT accept the discriminatory title of being called "Back Yard Breeders" - THAT IS NOT US. We are experienced with and knowledgeable about the health issues, behavioral and emotional needs common to Boxers. Please be assured, if Tiger or Cocoa had any known genetic defects, or issues that could pass on to the puppies we would have aborted the litter. As it is we tried to avoid a pregnancy by neutering Tiger, but the timing was off, lesson learned.

The Boxer Babies are here, we've been raising them since January 10th, 2016. As of 9 weeks old, we're ready for them to find their forever homes (wish we could keep them all!). They are BEAUTIFUL!

These puppies are getting daily love and affection, one-on-one care, attentive daily maintenance, living in clean spaces indoors, and spend as much outdoor time for healthy exercise as the weather permits. They nursed primarily from Cocoa Chanel, and also received supplemental formula, they are now eating a mixture of wet and dry dog food. We serve them Purina Puppy Chow Healthy Morsels and Purina puppy canned food and plenty of fresh water. They started HeartGuard in March 2016, and all up to date on all their shots.

All the puppies have been going to Bryan Animal Clinic and seeing Dr. Walker since they were just a few days old. They've received full physical examinations, recommended shots, weigh-ins and "Boxer" breed procedures (tail dockings and dewclaw removal). Any health issues have been addressed and will be disclosed to any future owners. To the best of our knowledge and efforts, these are healthy beautiful puppies.

We just need homes for them, and are requiring adoption fees to cover our expenses and requiring adoption applications and first meetings to help make sure their forever homes are investing in a family member.

We hope that future adoptive families will do their own research on what might happen to their loved one just because he/she is a Boxer. Also know that Boxers' lifespans are not long, compared to other breeds. But if your experience is anything like ours, your time with your Boxer baby will be the best and wackiest years of your life!

Tiger Roo's head and markings (wishbone on a black and fawn muzzle, white socks, white chest against a fawn brindle) are perfect by our standards. He's magnificent! He's so so so so loving. It's crazy, he's quite strong, but very submissive. We've not been about to get out for the kind of vigorous exercise he needs, so his muscle tone is not what we think a male Boxer his age should have. But once all our puppies get adopted, our schedules should free up so that he can get in shape. He spent three years with Cocoa mostly in a crate. It's a wonder he's as strong as he is. Gorgeous boy! Secretly, we're all glad to see their puppies, but we seriously did not plan on it. God's will be done!
We love Cocoa Chanel's build and head shape. I adore her gorgeous mahogany coat, eye color and black muzzle.
She's a sweet, elegant lady indoors, but watch out, she's also fierce. Cocoa's quite the protector around our property, everyone knows it. She's smart and has already picked up most of our common commands. Just needs to be puppy free to get back to our training.

Cocoa Chanel and Tiger Roo - IN LOVE TIMES TEN!
